Whichever way you choose to give to Shannon Trust, your generosity will play an important part in helping us deliver our reading programme.

With your support, we can help more people in the criminal justice system turn their lives around by learning to read. There are lots of ways to donate – it can be as simple as shopping online or sending a text.

Text donations

You can easily donate up to £20 to Shannon Trust by texting READING followed by your amount to 70085.

For example, if you text READING 20, you will donate £20.

Payroll Giving

By giving through your salary each payday, you can help us continue to provide our reading programme to people in prison and in the community. Payroll Giving is an easy and tax free way to regularly give to Shannon Trust straight from your gross salary, which means your donations will be taken off before you pay tax.

Your regular donations mean we can plan ahead and support even more people to learn to read. If you would like more information on how to set up payroll giving, visit GOV.UK.
