I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to work alongside some amazing people. I just want to say thank you for all the support and encouragement Shannon Trust offers to learners in custody.

I, myself was a Shannon Trust Mentor whilst I was in custody and I completed and passed all training that was required. It's so rewarding seeing learners go from strength to strength.

I think it's amazing that prison offers this opportunity for prisoners to access learning support and to believe in themselves more and that anything is achievable and to be proud of how far they have progressed. I'm a massive believer in "you can do anything you set your mind to". I was so honoured to of had that amazing opportunity to support learners on their educational journey.

Being a Shannon Trust mentor didn't just help the learner, it also helped me grow as a person and my confidence grew massively and it helped me become the person I am today, so I would like to thank you all for that. It's been a blessing really, so thank you.
