Learning for me, has been a life-long journey, that has, so far, given me great pleasure and endless entertainment. I whole-heartedly encourage everybody to pursue their own learning journey, whether they're right at the beginning of that adventure or have been adventuring for quite some time. For those that struggle to read - I would actively encourage them to press forward and to persevere, as the power of reading will unlock so many opportunities for learning any subject they wish, and will provide a lifetime's worth of enjoyment once the skill is mastered.

What really gives me a sense of purpose is when I can use the knowledge that I have gained on my journey to help others. Recently, I have started to learn Spanish, and this has given me an unexpected consequence, in that, it has given me a deep appreciation for those who struggle to read, and for the fact that knowing how to say a word is only half the battle - understanding what that word means is the other half.

Learning is a series of up-hill battles, and for some those battles are greater, but, there are obtainable achievements at the end of those battles, which will improve your outlook and even your quality of life, for the rest of your life.
